Guitar & Ukulele
If your child dreams of playing the guitar or ukulele, either just strumming along to their favorite songs on Spotify or YouTube, or writing their own tunes on acoustic guitar, laying down the rhythm guitar part in a had hitting band, or shredding lead guitar in a rock band, then Guitar or Ukulele with Josh is the way to go! Josh brings a wealth of experience. As a guitarist with formal training and touring experience, Josh brings the best of both worlds— he can and will give your kids the foundation they need to eventually go wherever the music takes them if they put in the practice, and, he can teach them to be creative, groove, and rock as hard and as much as they feel led!

Rogers. Josh studied jazz guitar in a summer program at Berklee school of music, and also studied classical guitar, music theory and composition for two years at University of South Carolina. Josh has performed all over the US and Europe multiple times, had his playing featured in a few TV shows, commercials and independent

"When I started taking lessons at 12 it changed my life. I hope to be able to bring that same experience to my own students. I love working with absolute beginners because witnessing them discover playing an instrument for the first time is the most rewarding experience I have as a teacher and as a musician. I tailor my lessons to each student and their individual goals. I’m more than happy to take it slow with an adult student who might not have much time to practice, or really push when I have a student that is ready for it. Whatever your goals are with music, I look forward to helping you on your journey with tons of patience and hopefully a few laughs along the way!"
