Band

If your child dreams of playing the trumpet, saxophone, flute, clarinet, trombone, or euphonium in a local band or orchestra, or maybe one day leading a band from the trumpet section playing lead trumpet, or bringing smiles and joy with the Disney Band, or maybe playing honors and ceremonial music with a US Military Band, then Band with SD is the way to go! SD brings a wealth of experience to the table. As a professional multi-instrumentalist, Sean-David studied at Berklee College of Music with some of the best music has to offer, he’s played professionally as a soloist, in various groups, six years in the US Army Bands, and has recorded as a soloist and countless tracks as a horn player (trumpet, trombone, and saxophone)! SD is committed to the fundamentals because he knows that most fun music has to offer is available only to those who know their stuff! And learning that stuff is all part of the journey of learning, growth, and making friends through a life of music!

He has experience playing professionally in a variety of environments; small groups, big bands, orchestral, musical theatre, and in churches, but jazz music is his passion as a musician. Sean-David is also a skilled and educated composer often writing new music to serve community. SD also holds two master’s degrees and a doctorate with a project focus on facilitating and serving the community through a local nonprofit music academy. As an educator, in addition to teaching music in private and small group formats, SD has served as an adjunct faculty member/professor for nearly 20 years and continues to do so simply for the joy of it.
